'Beneath the Ferns'

       I did not expect to develop a passion for Fungi photography in 2023 but I am very glad my photographic journey took such a unexpected turn. You never know what weird and wonderful mushrooms you will find and trying to spot them definitely keeps you on your toes! I found this small cluster hiding underneath some Autumnal coloured ferns, resulting in this vibrant image.

 This image is a stack of around 15 shots, taken with a Nikon D850 and a Nikkor AF-S Micro 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR Lens.
