You should always challenge your skills and step outside of your comfort zone where possible to encourage growth in your skills. Intimate scenes of nature can be a challenge for me, as I tend to see and photograph the bigger picture  of a location. However, I have been challenging myself (and enjoying) to photograph such scenes and am developing a portfolio of natures textures and subjects one image at a time.
