INFORMATION:

  • LOCATION

Workshops will be held at Speech House in the Forest of Dean from 10am-2pm. This location has adequate parking and plenty of areas to explore teeming with interesting subjects. There will may be lots of walking involved during the session and we may encounter some hills. A moderate level of fitness is required. More details about your specific workshop and directions will be sent to you closer to the time via email.

  • EQUIPMENT

You will need to bring: - Your camera - A macro lens or other alternative that will allow you to take close-up images. (Extension tubes, macro filter, zoom lens with macro feature, etc) - Tripod or bean bag: I will be encouraging you to explore at various levels and perspectives which may need stability. A tripod with a low level adapter, reversible column or multi-angle column is ideal. - Waterproof and warm clothing: Autumn can be very wet and cold. You will be outdoors for numerous hours and will need to be warm and comfortable. The ground can also be damp and very muddy in places, so appropriate footwear is necessary. - Any other gear you would like to bring: For example, knee rests, fold-able chairs, water and snacks.

  • BOOKING ON A WORKSHOP

- Workshops will be limited to 4-6 people. - Should you decide to cancel within 72 hours leading up to your workshop, you will be charged a £20 cancellation fee that will be deducted from your refund. - Should the workshop host cancel at any point, you will be fully refunded and also offered an alternative date where possible. Are cancellations likely? Not unless there is a bad storm or unsafe conditions. I will be keeping an eye on the weather the weeks leading up to your workshop, and scouting locations ahead to keep an eye on things. I will keep you updated through email on any changes, so please keep an eye on your inbox the week leading up to your workshop.
